345. Daniel LITTLEFIELD. Born in 1749. At the age of <1, Daniel was baptized in Wells, York, ME, on 9 Apr 1749. Daniel died in 1779; he was 30.

(Littlefield Family Newsletter; Vol. 8, #4, p. 82 (Oct 1998)): Killed in the Battle of Bagaduce (7/28/1779) in Castine, ME. He was a Major in the Militia. There are also two letters he wrote to his wife Hannah while he served in the war; bothfrom 1776 and are listed in the Littlefield Family Newsletter (Vol. 2, #2, pp 25/6)
